It was quite the shindig. Well, it would have been quite the shindig. If it weren’t for the untimely demise of a one Frederick Mickels. He was found, stabbed and bludgeoned in one of the reserved guest rooms at the Boulder City Convention Center. His murder is suspected to be at the hands of a rival by the name of Stephen Poole. Stephen was already under scrutiny for his alleged affair with a seventeen year old elf as well as the controversy over his sudden rise to power within his company. Blood was found on the traditional silk handkerchief formally carried with sword and scabbard atypical of the Knights of the Silver Star. Poole denies any accusation and insists he was set up. More to come later.
